The Griffin Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago (Griffin MSI), the largest science museum in the Western Hemisphere, is home to more than 35,000 artifacts and more than 400,000 square feet of hands-on experiences designed to spark scientific inquiry and creativity. Founded in 1933, MSI aims to inspire the inventive genius in everyone by presenting captivating and compelling experiences that are real and educational in the fields of science, technology, medicine, and engineering. The Museum’s Center for the Advancement of Science Education (CASE) is continually developing and facilitating educational programs, Learning Labs, and engaging guest experiences—all ways in which the Griffin MSI makes science come alive for children and adults of all ages.
One Free General Admission ticket per University of Chicago student per visit. To redeem, students must stop at our Entry Hall Ticketing Counter and present their ID. Discounts cannot be redeemed online or over the phone. Special Exhibits are not included.
