This event seeks to explore young and emerging Blues musicians who want to push the boundaries of Blues using their own interpretations in ways that are experimental while honoring the legendary Blues performers who came before them. Cameron Kimbrough and Yella P” Pearson of ‘Memphissippi Sounds’ and Buffalo Nichols are emerging artists intent on making their own unique musical imprint on the Blues and to carve a new space for a young generation of musicians. ‘Their presence encourages millennials and Gen Z fans to give the blues a chance.’
