You are a storyteller (Yes, you!) There is no better way to connect, create community, and understand each other, ourselves, and the constantly changing world we live in than through the sharing of our stories. Storytelling is an essential skill in our school and work life, and who doesn't want to be able to spin a killer tale at a party or over coffee with friends? In a fun, failure-free environment, we will build upon the skills all human beings possess as natural born storytellers with the introduction of practical tools, engaging exercises, and guided discussion. Everything from finding our uniqe stories to the detailed techniques of telling them effectively will be explored. Each session will also feature a lab component where participants may workshop stories, if they wish, and receive safe, supportive feedback.
