The Institute for the Study of Ancient Cultures is a world-renowned research center and museum focusing on the archaeology, history, art, languages, and civilizations of the ancient Near East. The Institute’s on-campus Museum displays objects and artifacts recovered by ISAC excavations in permanent galleries devoted to ancient Egypt, Nubia, Persia, Mesopotamia, Syria, Anatolia, and the ancient site of Megiddo, as well as rotating special exhibits. ISAC’s world-class collection of antiquities contains over 200,000 objects and artifacts, attracting visitors and researchers from around the world. Members receive regular discounts in the Suq gift shop, and free audio tours of the highlights of the collection.
