Join us for a UChicago Arts Pass exclusive for the Steppenwolf Theater’s World Premiere of Leroy and Lucy. Two lost souls meet at a crossroads, in the dead of night, deep in the Mississippi of it all. They laugh, they flirt, they make sweet music. Together, they conjure a familiar sound from long ago, one of wondrous deals and dangerous aspirations. In this sultry world premiere inspired by the myth of musician Robert Johnson, the Delta Blues fills the air, and every strum has the chance to change your life.   Join Emily Hooper Lansana from the Theater and Performance Studies Program and the Logan Center, as well as guests from Steppenwolf in a pre-performance conversation.

An optional, bus will depart from the Logan Center for the Arts at 5:30 pm. The pre-performance conversion will occur from 6:30-7:15pm, followed by the performance at 7:30 pm. The bus will depart the museum at 9:15 pm to arrive back at the Logan Center by 10 pm.
